Winter Recipes Kids Can Make

Butternut Squash Soup is an easy and quick recipe because you can throw all the ingredients into a slow cooker (also known as a crock pot).


In order to make this delicious soup you will need the following


2 lbs. Cut up squash

1 granny smith apple (peeled,cored, and sliced)

2 cans of chicken broth

1 pinch of salt

1 onion diced

Cook in slow cooker on low  for 6 hours

2.When done Puree and add light cream

to taste


Banana Bread

Banana Bread is a delicious and healthy treat for the holidays. It is a quick and easy recipe that all will enjoy!

In order to make this delicious bread you will need the following


2 cups of flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1 teaspoon of baking powder Directions:

1 teaspoon of salt Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.

2 eggs In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking

1 cup of sugar soda, baking powder, and the salt. In a large

4 bananas bowl, cream together the eggs and the sugar.

1 teaspoon of vanilla Stir in the mashed bananas, vanilla, oil, and

½ cup of vegetable oil cinnamon. Stir in the flour mixture, a third at a

1 teaspoon of cinnamon time, until just combined. Pour the batter into a

9-by-5- inch loaf pan. Bake for about 1 hour.
