The Cy Young Award and Who Cy Young Was

The Cy Young Award is the best award a pitcher can get except for being admitted to the Hall of Fame which comes after a player’s career. Cy Young was a very good pitcher. Cy Young was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1937. He pitched for twenty- two years and set many records. To honor him, this award was created in 1956, a year after he died.  He was born on March 26, 1865, and died on November 4, 1955. The Cy Young award is determined by baseball writers who vote for whomever they want based on their stats.
