The Museum of Ice Cream is a breakthrough for ice cream lovers everywhere. Not only does this museum appeal to ice cream lovers, it’s also a popular place for culture lovers, too. The Museum of Ice Cream is a pop up museum. It pops up and stays in cities for a short period of time.  It has become so popular that the organizers are going to build a permanent one in New York City. They change exhibits when they move, but they always have the thing everyone loves the most, the pool of sprinkles.

The pool of sprinkles has a diving board and floaties to relax in. To keep this pool sanitary, the sprinkles are made of plastic. The Museum of Ice Cream features different brands of ice cream giving you a chance to taste all of your favorite flavors. The sculptures are unique and are the best scenes for selfies. There are pictures all over social media of people  with the scented wallpaper, with unicorns, in the pop rocks cave, and so much more. One of the museums even has a wall made of pink, salt water taffy and a two person swing shaped like an ice cream sandwich. If that’s not enough,  you get to eat cherry cotton candy sprinkled with fairy dust (edible glitter)!

The person behind this amazing creation is Maryellis Bunn. She is only 25 years old. She hopes to have 180 Ice Cream Museums. When asked by Forbes magazine why she created the first one in New York she said, “I thought, there’s nothing new to do in New York City.”  She decided to take action. Forbes magazine asked her how she  decided what the museum would display. She replied, “I designed all the rooms myself. A lot of the ideas were childhood dreams I had.”

Visit the Museum of Ice Cream when construction finishes in New York, but hurry tickets will sell out fast!
