How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World movie, was released on Feb. 22, 2019.  It’s been five years since the first How To Train Your Dragon was released.

In the first movie, How to Train Your Dragon, a scrawny Viking named Hiccup caused trouble everywhere he goes. He wanted to impress his father, the chief, and make him proud by killing a dragon. His father thought he was too much trouble and shouldn’t be allowed to fight dragons. He snuck out and found the most dangerous existing dragon – Night Fury.   When he tried to kill it, he couldn’t. Every day he visited Night Fury, and eventually they became friends. He named Night Fury “Toothless” because he had retractable teeth. Toothless lost part of his tail and couldn’t fly. Hiccup made him a new one, but needed to control it from a saddle which he also made. He also made friends with Astrid, a girl from Dragon Fighting school. Together, they fight a dragon that is a huge threat to the other dragons.

In the second movie, How to Train Your Dragon 2,  Hiccup, Toothless, Astrid and Astrid’s dragon Stormfly find a ship half-frozen in ice. The people on the ship capture the dragons and say they need to build a dragon army for Drago. Astrid and Hiccup get their dragons back and escape. When they try to warn Hiccup’s dad, he closes down the town. Hiccup manages to fly away and Astrid follows. Together,  they find things they didn’t know existed and fight Drago.

In the latest movie, Hiccup is Chief of Berk alongside Astrid.  Suddenly, a Light Fury appears during the darkest threat Berk has ever faced. Hiccup and Toothless must leave the only home they’ve ever known to journey to a world that the people of Berk think is a myth. In this sequel, Jay Baruchel plays the voice of Hiccup and America Ferrera plays the voice of Astrid. There is also a television show based on  How to Train Your Dragon called How To Train Your Dragon: Race to The Edge.  How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World was rated 91% (Fresh Certified- positive) by Rotten Tomatoes.

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World is a huge success and an excellent movie. I highly recommend it!
